Gift Card FAQ

Q: Does a gift card's full balance have to be used in a single transaction?

A: No, you can think of gift cards as a form of payment with a "cash" value. If there is a balance remaining on the card, your customer can apply it to their next order.

Q: Can a customer use more than one gift card towards a purchase?

A: Yes, multiple gift cards can be redeemed during checkout.

Q: Can a customer use both a discount code and a gift card in the same order?

A: Yes, this is possible.

Q: How do I configure my pop-up so customers can receive multiple gift cards?

A: For the Pop-Up with Reward and Fortune Wheel, in the Form step there is a setting called "Allow Duplicate" which is in the OFF setting by default. If you toggle this ON, it will allow customers to subscribe again and receive another gift card based on the rules you set.

If you don't want customers to receive multiple gift cards, then leave this "Allow Duplicate" option in the OFF setting.

Q: What if I only want customers to receive another gift card based on whether or not they redeemed a previous one?

A: For the Pop-Up with Reward and Fortune Wheel, you can configure this in the Form step where there is a setting called "Allow Duplicate." When you toggle this on, it will display rules you can set.

In the rule "Who Redeemed," you can set it so customers can only receive another gift card if they did, did not, or did or did not previously redeem a reward.
